Speak up about your Psoriasis
Your doctor would probably prefer it if you asked questions, and became actively involved in the decision-making surrounding your care. For example, if your GP is referring you to a dermatologist (skin specialist), ask if they have a special interest in psoriasis. Not all do. If you’re not happy with your care, it is okay to get a second opinion.
It is your right to be informed of all the relevant treatment options. You need to know the risks and benefits of these treatments – as well as the risks and benefits of not taking treatment.
