Covering up Psoriasis with cosmetics

Cosmetics can be really effective, but remember:

    • Check with your doctor. Cosmetics can irritate some forms of psoriasis, such as pustular or erythrodermic psoriasis.
    • Camouflage or cover-up make-up is available but may require special techniques to apply it effectively. Find someone with experience in this area who can help you find the right tone for your skin and teach you how to apply it.
    • Never apply cosmetic cover-up to open skin lesions, unhealed cuts or raw or irritated skin.
